Updated on September 19th, 2021, to precise how you can access or delete your personal data
Your privacy is important to us. This is the "Shared counter"'s app policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you through our app, "Shared counter".
We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we're collecting it and how it will be used.
We ask for the camera permission only to be able to scan QR codes and share the counter ids between contributors belonging to the same group.
We ask for the contact permission when you create scheduled counters, so you can add contributors from your own contacts.
We store public profile information (user's name and email) only to identify the user among the others of the same group. These elements are never shared outside of the group you create or participate.
The picture you use is coming from your public profile (gmail or facebook), and you are free to change or post an empty image instead.
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we'll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
The application collects your email (for login purposes), your name (to be identified with other people from the same group), and profile image if you have any.
The app collects usage data for technical analysis only, such as crashes or UI optimization.
We don't share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.
At any time, you can request to access or delete your personal data by sending your request by email to info@shared-counter.fr and ensure you provide the email address used to create the Shared Counter account. The request will be treated within 72 hours, and you will get a confirmation by email once completed. Please note the deletion of your personal data will terminate your account and the service will be stopped in the delay mentioned above. If you have a running subscription, you'll have to stop it from Google Play (menu 'application' then 'manage subscriptions')
Our app may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
Your continued use of our app will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information. If you have any questions about how we handle user data and personal information, feel free to contact us. The developer email is available on the Google Play page of the application.
Our infrastructure supplier may fail to deliver service, or bug, or maintenance operations may occur. You agree the Shared Counter app team is doing its best to prevent such disrumptions but you cannot legally have actions against us in such case.
This policy is effective as of 1 June 2020.
